Design Your Most Productive Garden Ever
The difference between a garden that flourishes and one that frustrates often comes down to planning. In this focused workshop, you’ll learn how to transform your garden dreams into organized, practical plans that maximize productivity and minimize headaches.
Whether you’re planning your first garden or looking to improve an existing space, this workshop will give you the tools to create a thoughtful design that works for your specific needs and environment.
This workshop combines presentation with hands-on planning activities. You’ll receive planning templates and work on creating your own garden layout during the session. By the end, you’ll have the beginnings of a personalized garden plan you can implement at home.
When you participate in this workshop, you’re learning alongside veterans who are part of our Local Food Heroes Program. These veterans are developing agricultural skills that will allow them to become leaders in community food production.
Your participation helps create a collaborative learning environment where garden knowledge is shared while supporting our mission of empowering veterans through sustainable agriculture.
Note-taking materials, information about your garden space (measurements, sun exposure, etc.), and any existing garden plans you’d like to improve
This workshop is offered free of charge as part of our non-profit mission. Free-will donations to support our veteran training programs are welcome.
